Founder: Geri's Closet
The mission of Geri's Closet is to restore dignity and respect to the women of Bridgeport, CT who have been lost and forgotten due to their HIV/AIDS status and active IV drug addiction by providing them with basic personal care items and, at their time of death, provide appropriate clothing for interment.
Geri's Closet is a proud sponsor of the Sacred Women Support Group, for women who are impacted by HIV. Sacred Women Support Group is an initiative of the Nia Alliance and is the only HIV related support group in the City of Bridgeport.
